2019 Nebraska Ecumenical Legislative Briefing Day

"Working for Justice" includes 9 workshop topics presented over 3 sessions on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Christ United Methodist Church, 4530 A Street, Lincoln, NE, in order to provide information about concerns we all share; learn how these issues are being addressed in our legislature; call together leadership to share knowledge and insight about these issues; provide information about how to contact our senators regarding bills being debated and how their passage/defeat might affect us; and to provide material to share with church groups, family, friends and neighbors. Registration is at 8:00 am, followed by 9:00 am worship, Session 1 is 9:30 - 10:25, Session 2 is 10:30 - 11:25, and Session 3 is 11:30 - 12:25, followed by luncheon at 12:30 and 1:40 pm closing address.  Pre-registration fee of $20.00 includes luncheon.  Registration at the door is $25.00.  Free child care provided for ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
