Mission Engagement Grant application

The Great Plains Conference Mercy and Justice Ministries is offering mission engagement grants  for domestic and foreign mission experiences. The Mercy and Justice Ministries will give priority to teams who engage in mission experiences in ways that lead to self-sustaining solutions among the local people. In order to celebrate what God is doing through all the mission teams, all mission grant recipients must register their mission team with the conference to receive financial support, as well as support in prayers.

The team leader and all team members must be Safe Gathering certified. Team leaders (and members if this is what is decided) are required to have VIM/cross-cultural training. For information about trainings check the Mercy and Justice page of the Great Plains website.

All grant recipient teams will also forward a mission team report/evaluation to the Mercy and Justice team within three months of their return.

If you have any questions, contact the Rev. K. Chali at kchali@greatplainsumc.org or 316-684-0266.
